| OXCIS Environmental Disk This acronym stands for the Oxfordshire County Information Service and offers a wide range of growing directories and resources, in local information centres and council offices, schools and surgeries - and packages to use at home. This includes touch-screen public terminals, printed directories, internet (http://www.oxfordshire.gov.uk) and disks to run on any personal computer. The Inspector Morse Society was delighted that it was asked for details so we could also be included among the 1050 new entries in 1998. The Oxfordshire Environment disk is available for just 9 and features maps and photographs, access details, opening times, web & e-mail addresses as well as five ways to search the contents. For further details of the various services offered please contact OXCIS, PO Box 686, Oxford OX1 1EL (telephone - 01865 810254, fax - 01865 247805, e-mail oxcis@dial.pipex.com). | | |
