Holmes tracks down another mystery Legendary super sleuth Sherlock Holmes and his faithful sidekick Dr Watson made tracks for the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway at the weekend. Drama group The Irregular Special Players recreated scenes from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous books for visitors to the five mile line. The public was invited to enter into the spirit of the event by donning deerstalkers. It was not the first time Sherlock Holmes had been spotted on the K&WVR - Granada TV used the railway to shoot scenes for its series starring the late Jeremy Brett. |
