Diners facing a mystery menu Diners at a Weybridge restaurant could soon by key witnesses in a murder investigation. Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson will be on hand to help guests solve crimes committed at Holmes Restaurant in Baker Street, during the first in a series of Murder Mystery Evenings, which will take place on Monday (14). Members of the Sherlock Holmes Society will be organising the evenings which include the game, and a three course meal, featuring dishes such as Mrs Hudson’s home-made celery and stilton soup and Dr Watson’s tipsy trifle. Dr Antony Richards who runs the society will appear as the famous detective, said: “We organise these events both on trains and at restaurants around the country and I am thrilled to have the opportunity of launching a series of murder mystery evenings at such an appropriate venue.” |
