The Irregular Special Players have been producing a new murder mystery script every two years since 1992. Each plot is unique to us and has been devised to allow a degree of audience participation, within a complex yet humorous case, which is solvable only to the astute of mind. Will you be able to call yourself a master detective by the end of the evening? All you have to do is follow the clues, question the suspects, find the physical evidence and solve the case before Sherlock Holmes makes his deductions. Many of the scripts have a railway theme indicating our early days when we performed exclusively on preserved vintage steam trains, though each is adaptable to any venue. In addition The Blue Carbuncle (which has been specially adapted from the Conan Doyle story of the same name) is especially suited to Christmas parties.
